5 reasons why Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ is a treat for your family

Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016), directed by Mudassar Aziz, had a healthy dose of fun that could be enjoyed by family audiences. Eros International and Aanand L Rai, who had presented the runcom earlier, are back with its second instalment. Titled Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi (HPBJ), it stars Sonakshi Sinha and marks the Bollywood debut ofPunjabi actor-singer Jassie Gill.

Diana Penty, Ali Fazal, Jimmy Sheirgill and Piyush Mishra, who were seen in the first part, make an appearance this time around, too. The sequel has all the attributes that make it the perfect entertainer.

BRINGING BACK HONESTY
Usually, filmmakers recreate the same titles to cash in on the popularity. But HPBJ brings back the nostalgia and elements that worked in the first part. Its characters are identifiable and loved by the audience.

WITH PALS, GALS AND EVEN KHANDAANS!
It’s not quite often that a movie comes our way which delights families across generations or a group of friends, who collectively define it as an entertaining film. HPBJ is a clean, light-hearted flick that has the ability to enthrall everyone.

ENSEMBLE IN THE LEAD ROLE
The idea of a hero, heroine and villain is passé. These days, an ensemble stands out with its uniqueness and there’s no sense of hierarchy when it comes to roles. Likewise, every character in this Colour Yellow Production plays a pivotal role.

SONAKSHI IN A QUIRKY AVATAR
Sonakshi appears in a role which is likely to be enjoyed by her fans. The actress, whose earlier few outings presented her in a serious avatar, will be seen singing, dancing and cracking jokes.

TAAZI DIALOGUEBAAZI
The Happy series is known for its Urdu punchlines. Dialogues like ‘Tera bhai, mera bhai’ as well as ‘Librarian Labrador’ have become popular with the audience. The sequel, too, has some memorable lines.
