Advance voting starts October 11

October 8, 2014 2014-059

BRAMPTON, ON: Eligible voters who wish to vote before Election Day on October 27 can do so
starting this weekend. Advance voting will be held on October 11, 14 to 16 and 18 across nine
locations. The full schedule can be viewed here on www.brampton.ca/bramptonvotes

To vote in advance voting, take your Voter Notice to any of the advance voting locations along
with one piece of identification showing name and address. A list of acceptable identification can
be found here on www.brampton.ca/bramptonvotes
Eligible voters who have not received their Voter Notice can still vote at any of the advance
voting locations as long as they bring two pieces of identification – one with name and address
and the other showing proof of Canadian citizenship.
Voters are reminded to mark both sides of the ballot. With a record number of candidates this
Election, the ballot runs into two pages for all wards.
Citizens who are home-bound due to illness or disability can ask for a Home Voting Service,
which will be held October 14 to 16 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. This is an appointment-based
service and subject to availability. To schedule an appointment, call 905.874.2424.
