Brilliant Minded Women Foundation’s Annual Grand Gala Honours 100 Women 

Charity Brilliant Minded Women Foundation organized its 6th Annual Grand Gala on November 1. The gala was a massive hit with multiple leaders and community members from various walks of life in attendance. The evening had much entertainment in store with leading performances by violinist Grenville Pinto, ballet performance by a group of ballet dancers from I.D.A., folkloric dancer Marinera Norteña, and concert artist Tonia Evans Cianciulli. 

First and current Chancellor of Sheridan College, Hazel McCallian who served as the 5th mayor of Mississauga was bestowed with the Honourable Lifetime Achievement Award. The gala honoured 100 women from 14 different categories. One of the awardees was community member and litigation lawyer, Rinku Deswal, who was also featured in the foundation’s Living Legacy Album inaugurated at the event.

YMedia was present on the occasion with CEO and Group Editor Yudhvir Jaswal, and CFO Preet Jaswal rendering support to all the awardees.
