It’s a scam: Khaira
Chandigarh: The loan waiver scheme of the Congress had failed to bail out a majority of marginal farmers who were on the edge and influential farmers hijacked the scheme grabbing most of the public money meant for poor, said chief of Punjabi Ekta Party Sukhpal Singh Khaira in a press note here on Thursday. Demanding a judicial probe and special audit into the loan waiver scam, Khaira said the scheme was now turning out to be a big financial scam as was indicated in the internal audit report of the scheme at the end of the third phase.
