Condolence’s on Behalf of OSGC to the Town of Humboldt, SK and Families who Suffered the Loss of their Loved Ones

RE: Condolence’s on behalf of Sikh Community to the town of Humboldt, SK and families who suffered the loss of their loved ones.
Friday, April 6th we heard an unbelievable and shocking news which was the tragic accident of the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team bus. The death of 15 junior hockey players and coaches comes as a great shock and we are deeply sorrowed by it.
In this moment of great grief we standby with all our fellow Canadians to share in this time of sorrow and offer our deepest sympathies to all the families of Humboldt, SK. Our hearts go out to those families whose children are not going to come back from their favorite thing that they loved deeply, game of Hockey. To them we offer our prayers and condolences, we cannot even fathom the grief those families are going through. We will be offering our prayers at our local Gurdwaras (Sikh places of worship) in Ontario to provide those families strength to face such a loss of life. We also share the grief with all the hockey loving community which we all are as Canadians.

In deep sorrow
Gobinder Singh Randhawa
Chairman, OSGC
