Edith Frayne, 45, Of Toronto Charged With Attempt Murder In Subway Pushing Incident

The Toronto Police Service is advising the public of an arrest made in an attempt murder investigation.

On Sunday, April 17, 2022, at 9:03 p.m., officers responded to a call for an unknown trouble at Yonge/Bloor Subway Station.

It is reported that:

– a 39-year-old woman was walking on the platform

– she was pushed onto the subway tracks by another woman

– she sustained a serious injury from the fall

– the suspect was last seen fleeing the area westbound on Bloor Street West

On Monday, April 18, 2022, at 6:18 p.m., a woman was arrested at Finch Go Station.

Edith Frayne, 45, of Toronto is charged with:

1. Attempt Murder

She will attend court on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at College Park, in room 507, at 10 a.m.
