Heroic Firefighter and Police Officers Receive Top Honours
One firefighter and five police officers received Ontario’s top honour for bravery last night.
The Ontario Medal for Firefighter Bravery and the Ontario Medal for Police Bravery are the province’s highest honours, recognizing firefighters and police officers whose actions demonstrate outstanding courage.
The recipient of the Ontario Medal for Firefighter Bravery is Firefighter Jim Rose from Sarnia Fire Rescue Services.

Ontario Provincial Police
- Provincial Constable Paul Drake (Brant County Detachment)
- Provincial Constable Chris Thompson (Brant County Detachment)
- Provincial Constable Jeff Lobsinger (Thessalon Detachment)
