India beat Belgium for 4th win in a row 

Antwerp, October 1

The Indian men’s hockey team eked out a fighting 2-1 win over reigning world and European champions Belgium to register its fourth consecutive win of the tour. Amit Rohidas (10th minute) and Simranjeet Singh (52nd) scored for world No. 5 India. 

Belgium’s lone goal came from the stick of captain Felix Denayer in the 33rd minute. 

The teams will face each other again on Thursday.

Draw for women

Marlow (England): The Indian women’s hockey team played out a goalless draw against Great Britain in the third match of its tour of England here today. 


The teams play their fourth match tomorrow.
