AAP should NOT fight elections in Haryana & Maharashtra , focus on Delhi : Arvind Kejriwal

AAP Twitter – My personal view is that we should not fight any other election before Delhi assembly election , People are angry from our resignation because people had hope from us. Like we asked people before forming govt, we should have asked while leaving too. We are here not to change one constituency but the whole country! Fighting in Delhi seems to be more logical! Winning Delhi is extremely important to generate positive political energy! We will win Delhi for sure but the question is whether BJP will want elections to be held- @ArvindKejriwal There was a time after Delhi elections where APP had a powerful performance and formed the Government, Haryana was the next battleground. The Lok Sabha Poll results in Haryana and Maharashtra were a disaster for APP which did not win any seats in these states. Though AAP did not win any seat in Delhi Lok Sabha Elections but were second to BJP in all the seven seats. Just a week ago Yogendra Yadav had said that AAP will make corruption as the major issue if they decide to fight elections in Haryana which are due in October. AAP Twitter – People did not see AAP as a political alternative at National level – that was our challenge as a new party! There are 1350 other parties who fight every election! We need to make sure that we don’t become 1351′st! After the poll debacle in Lok Sabha Polls it was time for introspection and regrouping but the news in media about the infighting of the top leadership didn’t help. There were also a few resignations from AAP leaders which is still continuing though Kejriwal claims that all MLAs from AAP in Delhi are united.
Delhi has been under presidential rule since Feb 17 after Kejriwal resigned as the chief minister over the stalling of the Jan Lokpal bill in the assembly. No party in the capital, where the assembly is under suspended animation, has staked claim to form the government and this might pave the way for fresh elections.
