Man Arrested in Brampton Stabbing Incident 

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged an 18-year-old man in relation to a stabbing that occurred at an area shopping mall located near Dixie Road and Queen Street East  in the City of Brampton.

On Monday, December 17, 2018 at approximately 5:20 p.m. the victim, a 17-year-old youth from Brampton became involved in an altercation with another man, who produced a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim was transported to a trauma center with serious injuries and is currently in stable condition.

Tayshan Stevenson, an 18 year old man from the City of Vaughan, turned himself into police on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 and was charged with Aggravated Assault. He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Brampton on December 19, 2018.
