The municipal campaign for Wards 7/8 City Councillor is shaping out to be an interesting run with leading candidate and community advocate Manan Gupta securing prominent endorsements from numerous community and professional organisations.
The Ward 7/8 City Councillor position is an open seat being keenly contested by 13 candidates due to the retirement of long time Councillor Sandra Hames after an accomplished representation serving over 24 years. 
Manan Gupta Campaign has made big breakthrough in receiving endorsements from Canadian Labour Congress, Peel Regional Labour Council, Punjabi Broadcasters Association of Ontario, South Asian Press Club and prominent Senior’s Clubs.
