McGuinty aides charged in gas plants scandal
OPP has laid charges against two aides of former premier Dalton McGuinty in connection with the gas plants scandal. Charges are laid against David Livingston, McGuinty’s former chief of staff, and Laura Miller, deputy chief. They are accused of deleting government documents related to cancelled gas plants. Tens of thousands of emails were deleted pertaining to the case. Both aides are charged with breach of trust, mischief in relation to data and misuse of a computer system to commit the offence of mischief. Livingston and Miller are scheduled to make their first court appearances in Toronto on Jan.27, 2016.
