  1. Jagdish Grewal has been dropped by the Conservative party for writing a controversial article in his newspaper some time back. According to Grewal he did not write against anyone and has vowed to fight elections as an independent candidate.
  2. The latest Nanos Research poll conducted for CTV and Globe and Mail shows the Liberals ahead of other parties with 34.3% voter support, Conservatives with 32.1%, the NDP has 23.1% support of voters, and the Green have 4.6%.
