MIDWEEK SURVEY – Who do you think will be next CM in Punjab and which party will win? 

DESK REPORT / TORONTO – In this week’s exclusive survey Yudhvir Jaswal,
Group Editor and CEO of YMedia asked the community which party will win in the
upcoming Punjab elections and who would be the next chief minister of the state.
Conducted on Southasian PULSE Prime Time on Tuesday morning between 10am
to 12 noon, the community overwhelmingly supported AAP against popular thought
that Congress numbers are strong in the state. The station received about 67 votes
in total for the candidates and about 73 for the parties with 50.74% respondents
saying Bhagwant Mann of AAP has the potential to be the face of the state and AAP
will gain a majority vote Man received 34 votes, 50.74%. Other leaders who people
voted for were HS Phoolka – 12 votes, 17.91%; Gurpreet Ghuggi – 2 votes,
2.98%; Parkash Singh Badal – 2 votes, 2.98%; Dr Dharamvira Gandhi – 2
votes, 2.98%; Kanwar Sandhu – 4 votes, 5.97%; Capt Amarinder Singh – 2
votes, 2.98%; and Sukhpal Khaira – 9 votes, 13.43%. In parties AAP received
65 votes – 89.04%; Congress got 3 votes, 4.1%; BJP-Akal Dal 4 votes, 5.47%
and Apna Punjab Party 1 vote, 1.36%. YMedia regularly holds weekly polls on
various issues that of interest to the community and publish their results on all five
of its media platforms every week
