Peel Police Arrest Male in Possession of A Loaded Firearm in Brampton 

On Wednesday November 2, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m. members of the Street Crime Gang Unit investigated a male in the area of Chinguacousy Road and Bovaird Drive in the City of Brampton.

Investigators located a loaded 22 caliber handgun with 5 additional live rounds of ammunition in a bag the male was carrying.

As a result of the investigation, Trevon WILLIAMS an 18 year-old male from Toronto was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Carry Concealed Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle, Careless Use of a Firearm, Breach of Weapons Prohibition Order and Breach of ProbationTrevon WILLIAMS was arrested on Wednesday November 2, 2016 and held for a special bail hearing and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday November 3, 2016.
