Peel Police Seized Firearm and Drugs in Brampton 

Brampton – On Tuesday, October 18th, 2016, members of the 21 Division Community Mobilization Team investigated a vehicle at Trinity Common Mall located at 50 Great Lakes Drive in the city of Brampton. A loaded .38 calibre firearm and drugs were located in the vehicle.

Mark PETERS, a 19 year-old male from Brampton, has been arrested and charged with the following weapon/drug related charges: Careless Use of FirearmUnauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana.

Laverne McPHERSON, a 19 year old female from Brampton, has been arrested and chargedwiththe following weapon/drug related charges:Careless Use of FirearmUnauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cannabis Resin

Mark PETERS and Laverne McPHERSON, each appearedon Wednesday, October 19th, 2016, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for Bail Hearings.
