We would like to thank the community and participants for their continued support and the input which is why year after year we continue to be one of the most progressive police services in the country.
We have produced a brief video highlighting the results; please take a moment to watch this message from Chief Jennifer Evans.
In 1994, Peel Regional Police (PRP) conducted its first comprehensive survey of public opinions. Since that time, we have regularly surveyed a random selection of households and businesses, throughout Brampton and Mississauga, to seek input into the current and future delivery of policing services. The 2016 surveys were conducted on behalf of Peel Regional Police by PRA Inc., an independent research provider.
Results from the survey are used in the planning of the strategic direction for Peel Regional Police, and in the development and delivery of policing services and programs. It will ensure that Peel Regional Police will continue to reflect the needs of the community.
As the third largest municipal police service in Canada, Peel Regional Police are recognized for innovation and service excellence, the near 3,000 employees of our organization are committed to keeping our community safe. Our Vision: A Safer Community Together.
