Police Recover Stolen Item and Locate Illicit Cannabis
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested two males for stolen property and cannabis.
In September of 2018, an investigation was commenced looking into the theft of high end video equipment from a business in the City of Mississauga. One of the items stolen was a camcorder lens valued at over $25,000.
Investigators were able to identify the culprits and on October 25, 2018, they were arrested in the City of Toronto.
Along with recovering the camcorder lens both males were found to be in possession of dried cannabis in excess of 50 grams.
Yusef Aden, a 20-year-old male from the City of Toronto, and Jessie Ropson-Booth, a 19-year-old male from the City of Toronto have been charged with:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Possession of Illicit Cannabis
Both males were released on a promise to appear with an upcoming court date of November 29, 2018.
