Police search for the driver in hit-and-run death case of Hardeep Singh Pahra
Peel police investigators are searching for a drive who fled the scene in a hit-and-run death case of Hardeep Singh Pahra,30, happened on Thursday evening, Oct 29. Hardeep Pahra, who was father-of-two, recently immigrated from India.
On October 29, 2015, at approximately 5:50 pm., the victim Hardeep Singh PAHRA aged 30 was riding his bicycle on Steeles Avenue west of Albion Road in Brampton, when he was involved in a collision with an unknown vehicle.
Investigators have narrowed the time frame of the collision to a five minute window between 5:50 am and 5:55 am. The investigating officer, Constable Dave Elson said, “This area will form part of the routine morning commute for many drivers and we are interested in speaking with anyone who was in the area this morning between 5:45 am and 6:00 am. The public’s assistance will go a long way to helping us locate the driver responsible.”
Investigators are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area of Steeles Avenue between Finch Avenue and Albion Road prior to 6:00 a.m. who may have seen the collision, or the actions of the cyclist or vehicle driver, prior to the collision.
