Robbery at Bank Machine by Suspects Armed with Machete
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are investigating a robbery that occurred at a bank machine by suspects armed with a machete in the City of Brampton.
On Monday, November 27, 2017, at approximately 12:04 a.m., the victim was using a bank machine in a plaza in the area of Bramalea Road and Sandalwood Parkway in the City of Brampton. At this time, two suspects, one armed with a machete, the other a knife, approached the victim demanding money. The suspects left on foot with a quantity of the victim’s cash and met with a third suspect believed to be keeping watch a short distance away. The three suspects then continued eastbound on Sandalwood Parkway. The suspects were last seen on Applegrove Court. Eyewitness accounts indicate that the suspects were in the fast food restaurant in that plaza prior to the incident.
The suspects are described as follows;
Suspect number one is male black, 18-19 years old, approximately 5’6″ in height with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black ski mask concealing his face, a blue jacket with orange trim, a black hooded sweater underneath and dark pants. The suspect was observed concealing the machete within a dark beige canvas style bag he was carrying.
Suspect number two is male black, 17-18 years old, average height and medium build. His face was not covered during the incident. He was wearing a black jacket, a grey hooded sweat shirt, a black toque and dark jeans.
Suspect number three is described as male black, 18-20 years of age, approximately 6’1”-6’2” in height, thin build and was wearing a dark bomber style hooded jacket, a white t-shirt with a black smiley face logo on it, black pants and white shoes.
