SAD leader’s buses ferry Cong workers

Muktsar: The Congress government used 23 buses of the New Deep Transport, which is co-owned by SAD’s Gidderbaha incharge Hardeep Singh ‘Dimpy’ Dhillon, to ferry farmers and Congress workers to the government’s debt waiver programme in Mansa. The move has raised many eyebrows with area residents accusing both Congress and SAD of fooling people and working in tandem all this while.  “It seems the leaders of both the parties (Congress and SAD) have reached a pact. How can it be possible that the buses went without the permission of our local MLA Raja Warring” said one of them. A Congress leader from Muktsar said, “It is a shocking development. People are asking a number of questions from us regarding this controversy.” Darshan Singh, Manager, New Deep Transport, said, “The buses were sent on the directions of Transport Department officials.”
