Saif Ali Khan to provide jobs to 10 girls associated with an NGO
Saif Ali Khan recently launched his own fashion brand — House of Pataudi. Now, the actor has joined hands with an NGO, which provides education and job opportunities to girls who come from lesser-privileged backgrounds. Ten girls from the foundation will be hired to work for his clothing line.
Says a source, “It was Saif’s idea to collaborate with the NGO that looks after girls’ education and women’s empowerment to create job opportunities. He has always been a big supporter of causes that help women become independent. He felt the clothing brand was the ideal channel for such an initiative.”
The 10 girls are in the age group of 18 to 22 years and will be provided with training before they begin work. The source adds, “The girls will attend special training classes post their college and they will be paid for it.”
