  1. The body of two-year-old Manitoba child Chase Martens was found dead in a creek and RCMP has ruled out any foul play. The autopsoy report has confirmed Chase died from drowning.
  2. A section of press reported two Liberal party members, Toronto MP Adam Vaughan and Finance Minister Bill Morneau sparring over an issue. However, the two denied the allegation saying they were merely discussing affordable housing in the House of Commons.
  3. Government officials and people are lining up at Toronto City Hall today to pay their respects to former Toronto mayor and councillor Rob Ford. Funeral has been planned for Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Pakistan military has launched an anti-terror operation across Punjab.

AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has blasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi of surrendering to Pakistan for letting that country’s investigators to probe the January terror attack on Pathankot airbase. Replying to the allegation Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has said the Pakistani team has not been allowed to enter the airbase but just given access to investigate crime scene. They will also be provided the audio of Azhar Mehmood’s talk.
