  1. Alberta fire chief has said some parts of Fort McMurray are still under the rage of fire but they are trying hard to bring them under control. Wildfires have destroyed 15% area but 85% is still intact. About 90,000 residents were evacuated from Fort McMurray but after a plan to return will be rolled out after two weeks. Some houses have been completed charred but even those spared by fires have no water, gas, or power supply. Due to fires several oil plants were closed but Premier Rachel Notely will soon be holding meeting with them to know how and when they can start operations.
  2. Toronto Mayor John Tory has said his officials are working hard to crack down against the growing number of marijuana dispensaries in the city.
  3. A report shows child abuse cases are increasing in Mississauga and Brampton.
