The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two arrests in a stabbing investigation.
On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a call to Scarborough Town Centre.
It is alleged that:
– two groups became involved in an altercation inside the mall
– a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man suffered stab wounds
– the suspects fled from the area and were arrested a short time later
– both victims were transported to hospital by ambulance in a serious condition
A 14-year-old boy, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1. Aggravated Assault
2. Assault with a Weapon
3. Weapons Dangerous
A 16-year-old boy, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1. Two counts Fail to Comply with Probation Order
2. Use of Imitation Firearm in the Commission of an Offence
3. Threaten Bodily Harm
4. Assault with a Weapon
5. Aggravated Assault
6. Weapons Dangerous
