Two health agencies to launch a new venture
Brampton/Sept.23, 2015- A new not-for-profit health organization will be launched at a health fair in Brampton on Sept.26.
New agency HealthMe is a joint venture of two other agencies working in Brampton. A fitness centre, Train Me Fit, and another organization, Abbot Chiropractic & Health Care have partnered to create a new body to connect families in the region with health practitioners. Through this new agencies services of trainers, psychologists, registered dietitians, physiotherapists and chiropractors will be available at low cost or not cost.
The fair will kick off with a 5K run at Brampton Fair Ground at 9:45 a.m., followed by launching of HealthMe.
“We believe that pro-action is better than reaction. We want to provide support and education to our community so that we can stop chronic disease before it starts”, said Lindsay Branton, event organizer and owner of Train Me Fit.
Wallis for Wellness, Moksha Yoga Brampton, Got the Goods Nutrition and Nurse Next Door and many other Brampton businesses are also participating in the fair.
