William Osler Health System Community Update

Message from Osler’s Interim President & CEO

Dr. Frank Martino

Over the past two years, William Osler Health System’s (Osler) dedicated staff, physicians, volunteers, and you, our community, have come together in incredible ways to ensure patients continue to have access to safe, compassionate care. You have truly helped us be Osler Strong.

As we move forward in the face of change, Osler remains deeply committed to the future – one that’s rooted in our Vision to provide patient-inspired health care without boundaries. This includes recovering from the pandemic and resuming the non-urgent surgeries and procedures that many of you have been patiently waiting for. We know that our recovery will take time, but we are here when
you need us.

Looking ahead, Osler continues to work with government partners to advance plans for the new Peel Memorial Hospital and the proposed Cancer Care Centre in Brampton. This month, we re-opened the Urgent Care Centre at Peel Memorial and are moving forward with our plans to expand it to 24/7 operations.

We couldn’t do what we do without the dedication of our Osler Foundation and without you, our community. Our commitment has been
and always will be, to ensure you have access to exemplary care, when you need it.

The award is presented to individuals who have been recognized by their colleagues and the Brampton Board of Trade as bold, brave and courageous leaders in their field.

Osler congratulates Dr. Lillia Fung, Andreea Popescu and Dr. Jobin Varughese and thanks them for the incredible work they do for the hospital and the community. For more details about each winner, visit www.williamloslerhs.ca
