Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man from Woodstock with two counts of assault with a weapon.
Investigators have made an arrest in relation to an assault with a weapon incident that occurred on August 28, 2022, in the area of Steeles Avenue and Mclaughlin Road in the City of Brampton.
On September 12, 2022, Harjot Singh, a 25-year-old man from Woodstock has been charged with the following offence:
- Assault with a weapon x 2
Harjot Singh is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 2, 2022.
“Violence in our community will not be tolerated. Members of the Peel Regional Police continue to work tirelessly to bring those responsible before the courts,” said Deputy Chief Marc Andrews.
