‘Country has decided to form BJP-NDA govt for third time’, says PM Modi in Mirzapur

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched his poll campaign in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur today (May 26). The leaders across several political parties have shifted their focus to the seats going to polls in the seventh and final phase on June 1 (Saturday).

Later in the day, PM Modi will also resume his electioneering in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghosi and Bansgaon.

Addressing a public meeting in Mirzapur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “On June 4 ‘phir ek baar Modi sarkar’. In six phases the public has confirmed BJP government once again. Country has understood that ‘INDI alliance’ is communal, casteist. ‘INDI alliance’ says it will have five PMs in five years, can such PMs strengthen country. Samajwadi party and Congress people are dedicated to vote bank whereas Modi is dedicated to the poor, Dalits and backward people of the country.”

PM calls INDIA bloc as communal, casteist

PM branded the opposition INDIA bloc as communal and casteist, and claimed they have decided to change the Constitution to give reservation to Muslims. While the SP-Congress is dedicated to vote bank, Modi is dedicated to rights of backwards and the poor, he said addressing a poll meeting here in support of NDA alliance partner Apna Dal’s candidate from Mirzapur Lok Sabha seat Anupriya Patel and Robertsganj Lok Sabha seat Rinki Kol.
“People of the country have identified the people of ‘INDI alliance’. These people are staunch communal, casteist and dynast (parivar wadi). Whenever their government is formed they take decision on this basis,” he said.

He also accused the Samajwadi Party of neglecting the talent of people of the Yadav community and giving ticket to only family members of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
