Delhi Coaching Centre Owner Arrested After Flooding Incident Kills 3 IAS Aspirants; BJP Blames Aap Government

July 28: Delhi police arrested Abhishek Gupta, owner of a coaching centre, and Deshpal Singh, the coordinator, after three civil services aspirants died due to rain-induced flooding in the basement. The centre, which was supposed to use the basement as a storeroom, had illegally converted it into a library, violating safety norms. Protests erupted in Rajinder Nagar, with officials, including Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi, calling for strict actions against such violations. The victims, Shreya Yadav, Tanya Soni, and Navin Dalwin, were mourned by their families, who faced difficulties accessing the bodies at RML Hospital.
