New restaurant invites guests to Come Hungry, Leave Happy with a giveaway and fundraiser for William Osler Health System
IHOP® celebrated the opening of its next franchise location in the Greater Toronto Area on June 7, 2022. Located at 50 Biscayne Crescent in Brampton, this new restaurant will spread happiness by serving the brand’s World-Famous Buttermilk Pancakes and familiar comfort foods all day long, leaving guests with a smile on their faces. Since 1958, IHOP has been the place where people connect over breakfast, lunch and dinner, enjoy study breaks, grab a bite before or after sporting events, and so much more. IHOP has seen millions of smiles over the years in their restaurants and continues to be a space to enjoy special moments with family and friends.
To commemorate its arrival, franchisee Saeed Minhas and the Brampton Pancakes Inc. team invited locals to swing by on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. ET for its grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first 100 dine-in guests received a voucher for a free full stack of IHOP’s World-Famous Buttermilk Pancakes, to be used during a future visit. To support its community, 100 per cent of funds raised on June 7 will go to the William Osler Health System Foundation (Osler Foundation), to help purchase life-saving equipment for the pediatric ward at William Osler Health System’s Brampton Civic Hospital.
After the success of its grand opening, IHOP to have a Family Day celebration on Saturday, June 11 at 10 a.m. in Brampton. People can enjoy a live band, 360 photo booth, balloons and giveaways.

This opening marks the first of 15 new IHOP locations franchised by Saeed Minhas to open in the Greater Toronto Area over the next seven years. The new locations are expected to create approximately 900 jobs and contribute up to $15 million to the construction industry in the area.
