Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s weight on April 1 when he was lodged in the Tihar Jail was 65 kgs, on April 29 it was 66 kgs while on May 9 when he was released from the prison, his weight was 64 kgs, according to sources.
This has come as Arvind Kejriwal filed another plea in a Delhi court seeking interim bail for a week on medical grounds. The Delhi CM is currently out on interim bail, granted by the Supreme Court, in the case till June 1.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has claimed that Kejriwal’s weight had reduced by 7 kg during the time he was in jail and this could indicate that he may have some major disease, therefore, he has sought relief from the Supreme Court.
Delhi minister Atishi said the ED has opposed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea on medical grounds, as she questioned the probe agency’s stand and asked it why it was not allowing the politician to undergo tests as has been suggested by his doctors.
