Neveah Tucker, 4, Identified As Young Girl Whose Remains Found In Rosedale Dumpster Last Year

The Toronto Police Service has identified the young girl in a human remains investigation. 

On Monday, May 2, 2022, at 4:46 p.m., police responded to a call in the Castle Frank Road and Dale Avenue area, where they located the remains of a young girl in a dumpster at a construction site.

The young girl has been identified as Neveah Tucker, 4, of Toronto. 

Toronto Police have identified next-of-kin and the investigation is ongoing.

Excerpt from news release published on Thursday, May 5, 2022: A post mortem examination was completed on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. As a result of the post-mortem, investigators confirmed that:

Investigators believe the remains were left in the area between Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 12 p.m., and Monday May 2, 2022, at 4:45 p.m. However, she may have been deceased as early as the summer or fall of 2021, or earlier.

Images are being released of two items of clothing associated to where the child was found in hopes that someone will recognize them and help identify who this little girl is.
