Peel Police Seeking Public’s Assistance For Shooting Incident In Brampton

Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau request the public’s assistance for a shooting incident in the City of Brampton.  

On Saturday, November 12, 2022, at approximately 3:40 p.m., police received a call for a shooting near Bellchase Trail and Highway 50 in Brampton. Police arrived and located a man in his 30s lying on the roadway of a residential street suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries and is currently in stable and non-life-threatening condition.

A vehicle was seen fleeing the area with an unknown number of occupants.  Investigators believe that this was a targeted incident.

There have been no arrests, and investigators are asking anyone with information on this investigation to contact 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau officers at 905-453-2121 extension 2133.
