Two Brampton Men Charged After High-Speed Lamborghini Chase on Highway 407

July 13: In a dramatic series of events, two men from Brampton have been charged following a high-speed chase involving a stolen Lamborghini on Highway 407. The incident began with an armed carjacking in Brampton, where a 43-year-old man from King City was forced to hand over his 2022 Mercedes G Wagon at gunpoint. The suspects, identified as 19-year-old Naman Singh and 27-year-old Henry Pazer, fled the scene, leading police on a dangerous chase through Brampton and Toronto.

The pursuit, which was captured on video by a York Regional Police helicopter, saw the suspects driving recklessly, ignoring stop signs, and narrowly avoiding collisions. The chase ended near Weston Road and Highway 401, where the suspects abandoned the stolen vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Singh was charged with robbery and Pazer with possession of stolen property. The investigation is ongoing, and further arrests are anticipated.

This incident underscores the increasing issue of violent auto crimes in the Greater Toronto Area, prompting local police services to enhance their collaborative efforts to combat such crimes through initiatives like the Provincial Carjacking Joint Task Force.
