July 13: In a commanding performance, India secured a 10-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the 4th T20I at Harare Sports Club, clinching the series 3-1. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill were the stars of the match, both scoring unbeaten fifties to chase down Zimbabwe’s total of 152 with ease.
Zimbabwe, batting first, managed 152/7 in their 20 overs. Dion Myers top-scored with an unbeaten 65 off 49 balls, while Khaleel Ahmed and Washington Sundar were the standout bowlers for India, picking up crucial wickets to restrict the hosts.
In response, the Indian openers made light work of the target. Jaiswal, who was named Player of the Match, scored a fluent 82 off 49 balls, while Gill contributed 74 off 46 balls. Their unbroken partnership of 156 runs ensured India reached the target in just 15.2 overs without losing a wicket.
This victory marks India’s second 10-wicket win in T20Is and highlights the team’s dominance in the series. The final T20I will be played tomorrow, and India will look to continue their winning momentum.
