The investigation, led by the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau, began in April 2024 after multiple reports of suspicious activities in residential areas. Kooner allegedly used sophisticated equipment to film individuals in their homes during nighttime hours without their consent.
The investigation gathered enough evidence to lead to Kooner’s arrest on July 3, 2024. He faces multiple charges of voyeurism. Peel Police emphasized the seriousness of the charges, highlighting the invasion of privacy and the distress caused to the victims.
