BLS expected to get big boost to its global growth goals.
BLS International Services Ltd. has appointed former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison as its Global Strategic Advisor, a move the company says will support its long-term growth strategy in government technology, citizen services and digital transformation.
The India-based company, which provides visa, consular and citizen services for governments around the world, said Morrison will advise its leadership on areas including government engagement, public-service modernization, technology adoption and international partnerships.
BLS International said Morrison brings extensive experience in economic policy, trade, infrastructure and financial regulation, developed both during his political career and through his work with corporate boards, private equity firms and global advisory organizations.
During his tenure as Australia’s prime minister, Morrison was a founding member of the Quad Leaders’ Dialogue alongside the leaders of India, Japan and the United States. He also oversaw the elevation of Australia’s relationship with India to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Company Chairman Diwakar Aggarwal said governments worldwide are undergoing significant change as they respond to evolving technology and rising citizen expectations.

Founded in 2005, BLS International has grown into one of the world’s largest providers of visa, consular and citizen services. The company says it has processed more than 360 million visa applications, works with more than 46 governments and delivers services in over 100 countries.
According to the company, BLS International employs more than 60,000 people globally and operates a network of over 50,000 service centres. The company currently has a market capitalization of more than ₹10,800 crore (approximately US$1.2 billion).
The appointment comes as governments around the world increasingly invest in digital services, mobility solutions and technology-driven public administration, sectors in which BLS International has sought to expand its global presence.
