Bengal Bypoll Results: Trinamool Sweeps All Four Constituencies

July 13: In a significant political triumph, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has secured a resounding victory in the recent West Bengal bypolls, winning all four contested assembly constituencies. The seats of Dinhata, Santipur, Khardaha, and Gosaba were convincingly taken by TMC candidates, delivering a strong message of support for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s leadership.

The bypolls, held on July 10 and counted on July 13, were a critical test for both the ruling TMC and the opposition BJP. The results underscored TMC’s continued dominance in West Bengal, showcasing its effective grassroots mobilization and robust voter base.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, celebrating the victory, stated, “This victory is people’s victory, as it shows how Bengal will always choose development and unity over propaganda and hate politics.” This success further cements TMC’s position in the state assembly, dealing a significant blow to the BJP, which failed to secure any of the contested seats.

This clean sweep by the TMC highlights the party’s stronghold in West Bengal and presents formidable challenges for the BJP in its efforts to make inroads in the state.
