Brampton Startups Launches Community-Driven Hub to Support Local Entrepreneurs

Brampton Startups, a founder-led community collective, has officially
launched to support local entrepreneurs, immigrant founders, and early-stage businesses with
continuous support beyond incubators and accelerators.

Unlike traditional programs, Brampton Startups is run entirely by its members—entrepreneurs
who have walked the same path and understand the real challenges of building businesses in
Brampton. The initiative provides weekly meetups, networking opportunities, and startup
showcases, ensuring that founders can connect, share resources, and thrive even after
completing formal accelerator programs such as BHive Brampton, Brampton Entrepreneur
Centre, and Brampton Venture Zone by TMU.

“Starting a business doesn’t end when an accelerator program finishes. That’s
where our work begins—supporting each other, sharing resources, and building
lasting connections,” Brampton Startups.

Already, the group has supported startups in forming institutional partnerships—including
collaborations with Algoma University—and has gained recognition from local media for its role
in strengthening Brampton’s innovation district.

Brampton Startups’ mission is rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and peer-driven growth.
With Brampton’s Innovation District emerging as a national model of community-led innovation,
Brampton Startups ensures entrepreneurs have the support they need to scale their ventures
and contribute to the city’s economic growth.
