Drivers in Vaughan are being advised to plan for delays after a two-vehicle collision early Monday morning led to road closures near a major intersection.
York Regional Police say the crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. at Keele Street and Rutherford Road, resulting in minor injuries. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly afterward.
As a result of the collision, southbound lanes on Keele Street and eastbound lanes on Rutherford Road have been closed while police investigate and clear the roadway.
“Expect delays and use alternate routes,” York police said in a traffic advisory.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible and allow extra travel time during the morning commute.
