Today, Toronto Crime Stoppers was joined by Toronto Police Acting Deputy Chief, Kelly Skinner and the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) to raise awareness about fraudulent activities involving illegal motor vehicle sales across the GTA.
The goal of the campaign is to share information about the sale of unregistered motor vehicles (curbers) and auto industry non-compliance. It also aims to protect the car-buying public, hold offenders accountable and remind citizens to anonymously report this and other forms of criminal activity to Crime Stoppers.

We are confident this initiative and partnership will be a success, as it will provide valuable information and remind concerned citizens within our communities that they have the opportunity to report crimes anonymously through Crime Stoppers,
