The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in a Sexual Assault investigation.
On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, police received a call for a Sexual Assault in the Midland Avenue/Lawrence Avenue East area.
It is reported that:
at approximately 3:20 p.m., a 17-year old woman boarded an eastbound TTC bus, in the Pharmacy Avenue/Lawrence Avenue East area
the bus proceeded to the Lawrence East SRT station where a man boarded
the man sexually assaulted the woman, then exited in the Markham Road/Lawrence Avenue East area
The man is described as 5’11″ wearing a blue surgical mask, black jacket, grey sweater with a logo on the chest, Nike running shoes, and carrying a black Under Armour backpack.

A sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex and penetration.
