MP Iqra Khalid Co-Hosts a Cricket Match Between the Commonwealth Diplomatic Corps and Canadian Parliamentarians
On Wednesday, September 20th, MP Iqra Khalid, Vice-Chair of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Canadian Branch, co-hosted a Cricket Match with several Commonwealth High Com-misions based in Ottawa and Canadian Parliamentarians. MP Iqra Khalid co-hosted this event along-side the Rideau Hall Cricket Association at the historic Rideau Hall Cricket Grounds, among the old-est Cricket grounds in Canada.
The participation of these players represents the strengthening of ties throughout the Common-wealth as well as the opportunity to grow and spread the sport of Cricket in Canada.
