Tentative Agreement Reached, Averting Canadian Border Strike: Union

A tentative agreement has been reached for over 9,000 workers at the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), according to statements from the unions.

This development averts potential job action that was anticipated later in the week.

The workers, who are represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Customs and Immigration Union (CIU), had been in negotiations which have now successfully led to this preliminary accord.
