38 founders from across sectors mark fourteen weeks of growth, mentorship, and collaboration with continued support from BHive and Brampton NEXT to scale their ventures in Canada
BHive Brampton celebrated the Brampton NEXT Cohort 2 Graduation, marking a remarkable milestone in the city’s innovation and entrepreneurship journey. Over fourteen transformative weeks, founders demonstrated exceptional grit, creativity, and determination turning challenges into opportunities and ambition into action.

The graduation event brought together Brampton’s vibrant innovation community to celebrate the achievements of the city’s next generation of entrepreneurs.

Mayor Patrick Brown emphasized Brampton’s leadership in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, reinforcing the city’s dedication to creating opportunities for global founders to scale and succeed.
An insightful fireside chat between Suresh Madan, Industry Veteran, Business Leader, and CEO of MyHealth Centre, and Vikram Khurana, CEO of BHive, offered a masterclass in entrepreneurial leadership encouraging founders to think beyond their comfort zones, scale with purpose, and lead with impact.
Additionally, the panel discussion featuring Hina Sheikh, Advisor & Relationship Manager, Business Markets at RBC; Harpal Dharna, Serial Entrepreneur & Co-Founder of Dharna Group of Companies; and Benjamin Mak, Artificial Intelligence Patent Attorney at Smart & Biggar, provided invaluable insights into the entrepreneurial journey candidly sharing the highs, hurdles, and hard-earned lessons that shape success.

Founders also had the opportunity to present their business pitches and host founder showcase tables, connecting with guests, mentors, and the wider innovation ecosystem while highlighting their ventures, products, and market potential.
The event was also graced by Councillor Gurpartap Singh Toor, City of Brampton, Wards 9 and 10 whose continued support reaffirms Brampton’s commitment to fostering innovation, investment, and entrepreneurial growth.

Brampton NEXT and BHive continue to play a pivotal role in empowering founders beyond the program — offering dedicated mentorship, access to investors, business advisory support, and workspace solutions designed to help entrepreneurs build sustainable companies in Canada. Their shared mission is to make Brampton a launchpad for global founders supporting them not only in scaling their businesses but also in navigating their settlement and integration journey as they establish new roots in the community.

The future of innovation is bright and it’s taking shape right here within Brampton’s growing innovation ecosystem.
