At Amazon’s YYZ4 fulfillment centre in Brampton, Toronto Maple Leafs Matthew Knies rolled up his sleeves and joined Amazon employees to support three local women’s shelters and make a meaningful impact in the community.
Fresh off last night’s win, Knies spent the afternoon touring the facility, meeting employees (alongside Mayor Brown) and stepping behind the scenes to help pick, pack, and ship holiday orders during Amazon’s busiest time of year.
As part of Amazon’s commitment to giving back, Knies helped present a $15,000 donation of essential items to 3 Women’s shelters including Peel Region’s Women & Children Precious Shelter, Sakeenah Canada, helping support families across the GTA during the holidays.
