Delhi Police have issued notices to several X (formerly Twitter) accounts, including some news portals, over posts containing allegedly abusive language directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and security forces during the recent CJP-led student protests.
According to reports, the notices seek information about the individuals responsible for publishing the posts. Authorities have not disclosed how many accounts have received notices.
The action follows a police review of content shared during and after the protests, with officials examining posts, videos and comments across multiple social media platforms for possible legal violations and their potential impact on public order.
The investigation remains ongoing, and Delhi Police have not yet announced whether any further legal action or charges will follow.
