The makers of Haiwaan, director Priyadarshan’s upcoming thriller, have unveiled the first-look posters featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, offering a glimpse of the film’s dark and suspenseful tone.
Released on Wednesday, the posters showcase Akshay Kumar with a menacing smile, while Saif Ali Khan appears in a serious, intense avatar. One of the posters also features a young girl holding a soft toy, hinting at the film’s mysterious storyline.
Sharing the first-look images on social media, the makers wrote, “One sees everything, One misses nothing, Haiwaniyat ab nahin rukegi!”
The thriller also stars Boman Irani, Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar in key roles.
Haiwaan is reportedly inspired by Priyadarshan’s acclaimed 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam, which starred Mohanlal as a visually impaired man protecting a judge’s daughter.
The film marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan on screen after 18 years, following their last collaboration in the 2008 action-comedy Tashan.
Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn, the film’s release date and additional details are yet to be announced.
The project also continues Akshay Kumar’s renewed collaboration with Priyadarshan after Bhooth Bangla, while the duo is also set to reunite for the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3, alongside Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan was last seen starring in Netflix’s crime thriller Kartavya.
