Brampton South FLA (Sonia Sidhu’s Riding) Fundraiser Draws over 500 Attendees

An extraordinary show of community spirit and engagement was on full display in Brampton South as over 500 attendees gathered for
a sold-out Brampton South Federal Liberal Association (FLA) fundraiser.

The event exceeded expectations, reaching full capacity and reflecting the strength, passion, and unity that define the Brampton South community. From the moment doors opened, the atmosphere was vibrant, with a diverse mix of new and familiar faces coming together in a shared commitment to community building and public service.

The evening featured special guest the Honourable Evan Solomon, whose presence underscored the importance of continued collaboration and engagement at the federal level.

During the event, Member of Parliament Sonia Sidhu delivered remarks highlighting key federal investments supporting the growth and well-being of Brampton. She pointed to funding initiatives for Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) and the Embleton Community Centre as examples of the federal government’s commitment to strengthening local infrastructure and expanding opportunities for residents.

MP Sidhu also emphasized her ongoing efforts to deepen community engagement in Brampton South, including organizing the first-ever Senior Fair and Youth Fair—initiatives designed to connect residents with resources, celebrate community voices, and foster greater civic participation across generations.

“We are incredibly encouraged by the level of support and enthusiasm we saw tonight,” said MP Sidhu. “This event reflects the spirit of Brampton South—engaged, inclusive, and forward-looking.”
